JAKARTA, 19 August 2025 – The ASEAN Secretariat proudly announces the release of The ASEAN Magazine Issue No. 45, ASEAN 2045: Our Shared Future. It is a special edition to mark the launch of ASEAN 2045: Our Shared Future and its four Strategic Plans, adopted by the ASEAN Leaders during the 46th ASEAN Summit on 26 May 2025 in Kuala Lumpur.
This milestone issue features insights from the Eminent Persons of ASEAN Member States, Senior Officials, and the ASEAN Secretariat, who helped craft the ASEAN Community Vision 2045. This edition also includes voices from people across ASEAN who share their hopes for the future, and a special report on the 58th ASEAN Day celebrations.
This issue explores ASEAN’s shared commitment to building a resilient, innovative, dynamic, and people-centred Community, and how the Strategic Plans for the Political-Security, Economic, and Socio-Cultural Communities, along with ASEAN Connectivity, will address global megatrends and regional priorities in the years ahead.
