Tickets on sale now for a night of fine dining, auctions, and fun in support of the zoo’s visionary initiatives
Rising Sun, MD, May 13, 2025 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Plumpton Park Zoo is thrilled to announce its inaugural gala, The Safari Soirée, a premier fundraising event taking place on Saturday, May 31, from 7:00 PM to 11:00 PM at the Executive Banquet and Conference Center in Newark, Delaware.
This special evening will feature gourmet dining, engaging auction experiences, and opportunities to support the zoo’s ambitious plans for growth and conservation. Guests will be treated to a lively cocktail hour with hors d’oeuvres, followed by a five-star buffet dinner, and both live and silent auctions. Auction items will include exclusive experiences such as private zoo tours, luxury vacation packages, autographed sports memorabilia, fine jewelry, and more.
Individual tickets are $125, or $1,000 for a reserved table of 10. A variety of sponsorship packages are also available, offering additional promotional benefits and VIP perks.
Proceeds from The Safari Soirée will directly support Plumpton Park Zoo’s expansion efforts, including a new, state-of-the-art $1.8 million, 15,000-square-foot tiger habitat, as well as other major improvements aimed at advancing animal care, education, and conservation programming.
