MANDAUE CITY — This city will carry out simultaneous fiesta celebrations and security operations tied to movements of delegates from the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (Asean) on May 7 and May 8, prompting local officials to intensify coordination across multiple departments.
City administrator Gonzalo “Sally” Malig-on said the local government has activated preparations to manage the overlap of major civic and international events, which coincide with the peak days of the city fiesta.
