Deputy Secretary-General of ASEAN for Community and Corporate Affairs, H.E. Nararya S. Soeprapto, delivered remarks at the 15th ASEAN Law Association (ALA) General Assembly in Bangkok, Thailand, alongside Hon. Chief Justice Adisak Tantiwong, President of the Supreme Court of Thailand and Chair of ALA Thailand, who delivered the Welcome Remarks, and H.E. Tun Tengku Maimun binti Tuan Mat, President of ALA, who delivered the Opening Address.
In his address, DSG Nararya highlighted that the theme of the 15th ALA General Assembly, “People. Planet. Partnership.”, underscores the importance of regional legal cooperation in an increasingly dynamic global environment. In this regard, he commended the ASEAN Law Association for its enduring commitment to bringing together ASEAN’s legal community to foster dialogue, strengthen the rule of law, and support the realisation of the ASEAN Community Vision 2045.
