At the invitation of Admiral Samuel J. Paparo, Commander of the United States Pacific Command (USPACOM), Secretary-General of ASEAN Dr. Kao Kim Hourn, will participate in the 37th Annual International Military Law and Operations (MILOPS) Conference, to be held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on 3-6 August 2026. Dr. Kao will deliver a keynote address entitled ASEAN Centrality in the Context of Maintaining Peace, Security and Prosperity in the Indo-Pacific, on 3 August 2026. Dr. Kao will also take the opportunity to convene bilateral meetings on the sidelines of the event.
