The Deputy Secretary-General of ASEAN for ASEAN Economic Community, H.E. Satvinder Singh, attended the 4th AEM-WIPO Consultation Meeting in Manila, Philippines.
The Meeting discussed the progress of the ASEAN-WIPO MoU on Expansion of Cooperation in Specific Areas. The MoU oversees the implementation of a total of 44 activities committed to the advancement of the IP ecosystem in ASEAN.
The Meeting also welcomed the launch of new value-added services on the ASEAN IP Register, including IP Portfolio and IP Intelligence services which serve to provide ASEAN’s stakeholders with improved data to inform their innovation decision-making.
