PayMitto launches PayMitto Business, bringing embedded international payments to small business banking

Banks and credit unions can now give business clients a faster, more convenient way to pay suppliers abroad, with full visibility from invoice to delivery, without leaving digital banking

ATLANTA, Oct. 19, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — PayMitto today announced PayMitto Business, a new business-to-business and business-to-consumer international payments solution embedded in a financial institution’s digital banking platform. PayMitto already powers person-to-person transfers for institutions’ consumer account holders; PayMitto Business serves their small and mid-sized business clients, who can pay suppliers and contractors abroad in near real time and track each payment from invoice to delivery. Institutions keep those payments in-house and earn new non-interest income.

Small businesses increasingly pay suppliers and contractors around the world, and for the frequent, smaller payments they make, many want something faster and easier to track. When they find it outside their bank or credit union, the institution loses the fee, the FX income and, increasingly, the operating deposits behind them.

With PayMitto Business, a business client uploads a supplier invoice and the payment is pre-filled. The client sees the fee and exchange rate before sending, sets approval rules for their team, and tracks the payment until it lands. For institutions, each payment is processed digitally from start to finish, without the manual handling, callbacks and back-office cost of a traditional international wire.

“Banks and credit unions haven’t been losing small-business payments because clients wanted to leave. They’ve been losing them because the tools weren’t there,” said Larry Hipp, CEO of PayMitto. “Today, too many of those payments go to standalone payment apps, and the deposits follow. The institutions that compete for them now will hold the small-business relationship for the next decade.”

“We heard the same thing from both sides of the relationship: business owners wanted paying abroad to be as easy as paying a bill at home, and their banks and credit unions wanted to offer it without adding operational burden,” said Audrey Hall, Chief Product Officer at PayMitto. “PayMitto Business does both. A client can pay an overseas supplier or an individual contractor straight from an invoice, and the institution delivers it without the cost of a wire.”

PayMitto Business is available today to U.S. banks and credit unions through a direct integration or PayMitto’s pre-built integrations with leading digital banking platforms. To learn more, visit www.paymitto.com.
