The 1st ASEAN Prosecutors/Attorneys General Meeting (APAGM) was hosted by Brunei Darussalam, on 20 October 2026, in Bandar Seri Begawan, Brunei Darussalam. The Meeting was chaired by the Honourable Datin Seri Paduka Dayang Hajah Nor Hashimah binti Haji Muhammed Taib, Attorney General of Brunei Darussalam, and attended by the Prosecutors General and Attorneys General of ASEAN Member States, and the Secretary-General of ASEAN.
The Meeting welcomed the convening of the inaugural APAGM and, on this historic occasion, also welcomed Timor-Leste’s participation for the first time as a Member State of ASEAN, following its admission as the 11th ASEAN Member State at the 47th ASEAN Summit, held on 26 October 2025, in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
