Earlier this morning, Secretary-General of ASEAN Dr. Kao Kim Hourn joined the Foreign Ministers of ASEAN and external partners in a Courtesy Call on the Prime Minister of Lao PDR Sonexay Siphadone, on the occasion of the 57th ASEAN Foreign Ministers’ Meeting (AMM) and Related Meetings. The Ministers reaffirmed commitment to support Lao PDR’s Chairmanship of ASEAN this year under the theme “ASEAN: Enhancing Connectivity and Resilience” with a view to achieving the ASEAN Community Vision 2025, as well as to develop the ASEAN Community Vision 2045.
