Secretary-General of ASEAN, Dr. Kao Kim Hourn, met with the Minister of National Defence of Lao PDR, Lieutenant General Khamlieng Outhakaisone, on the sidelines of the 12th Beijing Xiangshan Forum. Dr. Kao commended Lao PDR for their successful chairmanship of the defence sector in 2024. They exchanged views on ways to advance ASEAN’s practical cooperation in the defence sector moving forward.
