Secretary-General of ASEAN, Dr. Kao Kim Hourn, participated in the AEM-USTR Consultation, held today in Vientiane, Lao PDR.
The Meeting exchanged views on the progress of economic cooperation between ASEAN and the United States, particularly through the implementation of the ASEAN-US Trade and Investment Framework Arrangement (TIFA) and Expanded Economic Engagement (E3) initiatives and ways to further enhance the economic relations between ASEAN and the United States.
