Secretary-General of ASEAN, Dr. Kao Kim Hourn, today participated in the 5th AEM-UK Consultation, in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
The Meeting discussed the progress of the ASEAN-UK Economic Cooperation, particularly through the ASEAN-UK Economic Integration Programme (EIP) and the Work Plan to Implement the ASEAN-UK Joint Ministerial Declaration on Future Economic Cooperation. The Meeting also discussed ways to strengthen cooperation between ASEAN and UK, particularly in light of the recent global and regional economic developments.
