Deputy Secretary-General of ASEAN for ASEAN Political-Security Community, Dato’ Astanah Abdul Aziz, received a courtesy call from the Director-General of Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office (HKETO) Jakarta, Libera Cheng; Director of HKETO Singapore, Owin Fung, and Director of HKETO Bangkok, Parson Lam at the ASEAN Headquarters/ASEAN Secretariat earlier today. They exchanged views on existing and potential new areas of cooperation between the ASEAN Secretariat and HKETO across the region to strengthen economic relations between ASEAN and Hong Kong, China, especially in priority areas such as digital economy, people-to-people connectivity, energy and sustainable development.
