At the invitation of the Akademi Kepemimpinan Pendidikan Tinggi (AKEPT), Malaysia’s premier higher education leadership academy, under the Ministry of Higher Education of Malaysia, Secretary-General of ASEAN, Dr. Kao Kim Hourn, will participate in the ASEAN Higher Education Leadership Forum (ASHELF) 2025, to be held in Putrajaya, Malaysia, on 4 November 2025. During the Forum, Dr. Kao will deliver the keynote address entitled “ASEAN Higher Education Leadership: Navigating the Future Together,” where he will highlight ASEAN’s collective efforts to strengthen leadership and governance in higher education, foster innovation, and enhance regional cooperation towards a more connected, resilient, and future-ready ASEAN education community.
