Secretary-General of ASEAN meets with the Secretary-General of the Narcotics Control Board (ONCB)

Secretary-General of ASEAN, Dr. Kao Kim Hourn, this afternoon met with Secretary-General of the Narcotics Control Board (ONCB) of Thailand H.E. Pol. Lt. Gen. Phanurat Lukboon. Both sides discussed Thailand’s strategic initiatives in combating illicit drugs and reaffirmed their commitment to ASEAN’s collective efforts in addressing illicit drug issues. Dr. Kao also commended Thailand’s pivotal role in leading the publication of the annual ASEAN Drug Monitoring (ADM) report, a flagship initiative that has become essential to ASEAN’s regional cooperation in tackling illicit drug challenges across the region.
