- The 13th ASEAN Ministerial Meeting on Disaster Management (AMMDM) and the 14th Meeting of the Conference of Parties (COP) to the ASEAN Agreement on Disaster Management and Emergency Response (AADMER) were convened on 15 October 2025, in Phnom Penh, Cambodia.
- The Opening Ceremony of the Meeting was solemnly held at the Peace Palace, honoured and graced by the esteemed presence of Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei Hun Manet, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia. Participants in the Opening Ceremony comprised Ministers in charge of Disaster Management and representatives from ASEAN Member States and Timor-Leste attending as an observer; Secretary-General of ASEAN; Ministers and representatives from China, Japan, and the Republic of Korea (ROK); Deputy Prime Ministers, Ministers, Commander in-Chief of the Royal Cambodian Armed Forces, General Commissioner of National Police, Commander of the Royal Gendarmerie of Cambodia, Division Commander and Head of Disaster Search and Rescue Operations Teams, Provincial Governors and other senior officials of the Government of the Kingdom of Cambodia; Ambassadors of foreign missions accredited to Cambodia; as well as representatives from international organisations, Non-Government Organisations, and other key stakeholders in the disaster management sector.
