Secretary-General of ASEAN, Dr. Kao Kim Hourn, on 31 August 2026, participated and delivered a Special Address in the Groundbreaking Ceremony of the Phnom Penh Logistics Complex (PPLC), in Kampong Speu Province, Cambodia. The PPLC, a joint initiative involving Singapore’s YCH Group and Cambodia’s Sear Brother investments, is the second SuperPort under ASEAN Business Advisory Council (ASEAN-BAC)’s Smart Growth Connect and ASEAN Smart Logistics Network agenda, supporting for the implementation of ASEAN Connectivity Strategic Plan, stronger logistics connectivity, supply chain resilience, and regional integration across ASEAN. The event was attended by H.E. Hun Many, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Civil Service of Cambodia, high-ranking officials from the Royal Government of Cambodia, Ambassador of Singapore to Cambodia, YCH Group, Sear Brother investments, ASEAN-BAC, as well as other partners.
