Secretary-General of ASEAN, Dr. Kao Kim Hourn, today attended a luncheon hosted by H.E. Ambassador Sarah Al Bakri Devadason, Permanent Representative of Malaysia to ASEAN, who is the Chair of the CPR for 2025, along with other Permanent Representatives to ASEAN as well as the Ambassador of Timor-Leste to ASEAN. SG Dr. Kao was accompanied by the Deputy Secretaries-General of ASEAN. During the luncheon, SG Dr. Kao extended his best wishes to Malaysia for assuming its ASEAN Chairmanship this year and reiterated the ASEAN Secretariat’s full support for Malaysia’s leadership, particularly in its role as Chair of the CPR in 2025.
