MANILA, Philippines — President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. on Friday led the official launch of the Philippines’ chairship of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (Asean) for 2026.
The President, joined by First Lady Liza Araneta-Marcos, also unveiled the Asean Philippines 2026 logo, featuring the standard Asean emblem that reflects the unity and stability of Member States, along with the 2026 commemorative stamp.
Under the theme “Navigating Our Future, Together,” the Asean Philippines 2026 Chairship marks a milestone year — highlighting the country’s role in advancing the implementation of the Asean Community Vision 2045, a 20-year strategic roadmap for a resilient, innovative, dynamic and people-centered Asean Community — while also commemorating the 50th anniversary of the Treaty of Amity and Cooperation.
