Newly-appointed Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to ASEAN Sheikh Mohamed Ahmed Salim Al Shanfari presented his letter of credence to Secretary-General of ASEAN Dr Kao Kim Hourn at ASEAN Secretariat today. Dr Kao congratulated Ambassador Al Shanfari on his appointment and underscored need to explore potential collaboration between ASEAN and Oman. He also looked forward to strengthening cooperation in areas of mutual interest and benefit, including through the ASEAN-Gulf Cooperation Council cooperation framework.
