The Secretary-General of ASEAN, Dr. Kao Kim Hourn, today met with H.E. Gan Kim Yong, Minister for Trade and Industry of Singapore. They discussed necessary measures to advance key initiatives under the ASEAN Economic Community, including the Upgrade Negotiations of the ASEAN Trade in Goods Agreement and the Negotiation of the Digital Economy Framework Agreement, among others. These initiatives will provide a strategic impetus to ASEAN’s efforts in pursuing supply chain resiliency and digital transformation.
