Secretary-General of ASEAN, Dr. Kao Kim Hourn, today met with Minister of Commerce and Industry of Timor Leste, H.E. Filipus Nino Pereira, on the sidelines of the 57th ASEAN Economic Ministers’ Meeting (AEM) and Related Meetings, in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. They discussed, among others, the progress of Timor-Leste’s Accession to ASEAN economic agreements in preparation for Timor-Leste’s full membership in ASEAN in October 2025.
