- RECALL the inaugural AMMS+China meeting on 1 September 2023 in Chiang Mai, Thailand and REAFFIRM our view that sports play a crucial role in fostering people-to-people connections and are a valuable component of ASEAN-China Comprehensive Strategic Partnership.
- ACKNOWLEDGE the establishment of the ASEAN Plus China mechanism for sports cooperation to provide strategic guidance for mutually beneficial exchanges in sports between ASEAN and China, which is in line with the ASEAN Work Plan on Sports and the Plan of Action to Implement the ASEAN-China Comprehensive Strategic Partnership.
