Secretary-General of ASEAN, Dr. Kao Kim Hourn, today attended the 5th ASEAN-Australia Summit in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The Summit underlined the importance of the ASEAN-Australia Comprehensive Strategic Partnership (CSP) and reaffirmed both sides’ commitment to further strengthening the partnership in line with the Vision Statement and the Melbourne Declaration adopted at the ASEAN-Australia Special Summit in 2024, while looking ahead to the commemoration of the 5th anniversary of the CSP in 2026 as an opportunity to further advance cooperation.
