Secretary-General of ASEAN, Dr. Kao Kim Hourn, today met with Dato’ Seri Mohamed Khaled bin Nordin, Minister of Defence of Malaysia and Chair of the ASEAN Defence Ministers’ Meeting (ADMM) 2025, on the sidelines of the 19th ADMM, in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Dr. Kao congratulated the Minister on his effective stewardship as ADMM Chair this year, commending his leadership in steering the defence sector and delivering numerous practical initiatives and other key outcomes. Dr. Kao also reaffirmed the ASEAN Secretariat’s support in advancing regional defence cooperation as ASEAN embarks on a new chapter of its Community building following the adoption of the ASEAN 2045: Our Shared Future.
