At the invitation of the Ministry of Transport and Communications of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, Secretary-General of ASEAN, Dr. Kao Kim Hourn, will lead the ASEAN Secretariat’s delegation to participate in the 31st ASEAN Transport Ministers (ATM) and its associated Meetings, to be held in Nay Pyi Taw, Myanmar, on 20 November 2025.
A key highlight of the Meeting will be the consideration and adoption of the ASEAN Transport Sectoral Plan (ATSP) 2026-2030, which will chart ASEAN’s strategic direction for enhancing regional connectivity, sustainability, and innovation in the transport sector over the next five years, in support of regional integration and in alignment with the ASEAN Community Vision 2045, ASEAN Economic Community Strategic Plan 2026-2030, as well as the ASEAN Connectivity Strategic Plan 2026-2035.
