Secretary-General of ASEAN, Dr. Kao Kim Hourn, today delivered opening remarks at the ASEAN-France One Health Scientific Conference, which took place at the ASEAN Headquarters/ASEAN Secretariat. Co-organised by the Ministry of Health Indonesia, Embassy of France in Indonesia, Timor-Leste and to ASEAN, and the French National Centre for Scientific Research, the conference facilitated interdisciplinary dialogue among researchers, policymakers, and practitioners to address and strengthen the environmental component in the One Health initiative. During the two days event, participants will involve in scientific discussion sessions regarding One Health Systems at the global, regional and national levels, planetary boundaries, climate change, as well as protected areas.
