Secretary-General of ASEAN delivers remarks at Dinner Reception with Japanese Partners and Stakeholders

Secretary-General of ASEAN, Dr. Kao Kim Hourn, delivered remarks at a dinner reception held at the Imperial Hotel Tokyo, on 5 March 2026, bringing together Ambassadors of ASEAN Members in Tokyo, members of the Economic Research Institute for ASEAN and East Asia (ERIA) Parliamentary League, and representatives from Ministry of Economy, Trade, and Industry of Japan, Canon Institute for Global Studies (CIGS) and Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO).The reception provided an opportunity to reaffirm the importance of ASEAN–Japan partnership and continued collaboration in advancing regional economic resilience and cooperation.
