Secretary-General of ASEAN, Dr. Kao Kim Hourn, today hosted a one-on-one luncheon in honour of H.E. Ambassador Sarah Al Bakri Devadason, Permanent Representative of Malaysia to ASEAN, and expressed appreciation for Malaysia’s stewardship of ASEAN in 2025, including its leadership of the Committee of Permanent Representatives and its role in advancing key ASEAN priorities. They discussed, among others, the implementation of ASEAN 2045: Our Shared Future, strengthening ASEAN’s external relations, and enhancing regional resilience in light of evolving geopolitical and geoeconomic developments.
