ASEAN and the United States (U.S.) reiterated their commitment to advancing their Comprehensive Strategic Partnership (CSP) at the 17th Meeting of the ASEAN-U.S. Joint Cooperation Committee, held today at the ASEAN Headquarters/ASEAN Secretariat. During the meeting, both sides reviewed the progress of cooperation and exchanged views on potential areas of future cooperation.
Permanent Representative of Cambodia to ASEAN, Noy Choumneanh, and Chargé d’Affaires a.i. of the U.S. Mission to ASEAN, Joy Sakurai, co-chaired the meeting. Permanent Representatives of ASEAN Member States or their representatives and the Deputy Secretary-General of ASEAN for ASEAN Political Security Community attended the meeting.
