At the invitation of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam, H.E. Le Hoai Trung, Secretary-General of ASEAN, Dr. Kao Kim Hourn, will participate in the ASEAN Future Forum (AFF) 2026, to be held in Ha Noi, Viet Nam, on 8-9 June 2026, whereby SG Dr. Kao will deliver remarks at the opening session on 9 June. Later in the day, at the invitation of General Secretary of the Communist Party of Viet Nam and President of the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam, H.E. To Lam, SG Dr. Kao will also participate in a brief exchange session with Heads of Delegation, partners and scholars engaging with ASEAN, and deliver remarks. Dr. Kao will also take the opportunity to convene bilateral meetings with Vietnamese high-level government officials at the sidelines of the AFF.
