Secretary-General of ASEAN, Dr. Kao Kim Hourn, today delivered a special message at the ASEAN-China Ministerial Roundtable on Construction and Housing (ACMROCH) 2026, in Ipoh, Malaysia. In his remarks, Dr. Kao emphasised the importance of strengthening capacity building, city-to-city partnership, and innovative financing for sustainable urban projects.
The ACMROCH brought together ministers and representatives from ASEAN Member States and China to discuss ways to strengthen cooperation in advancing sustainable cities, promote quality housing, and foster cohesive communities.
