Secretary-General of ASEAN, Dr. Kao Kim Hourn, on 4 August 2026, together with H.E. Anutin Charnvirakul, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Thailand, officiated a symbolic tree planting ceremony in the garden of the ASEAN Secretariat’s New Building.
The ceremony underscored the shared commitment of ASEAN and Thailand to sustainability, environmental stewardship and a greener future for the region.
