Deputy Secretary-General of ASEAN for the ASEAN Socio-Cultural Community, H.E. San Lwin, today participated in the ASEAN Strategic Policy Dialogue on Disaster Management (SPDDM) 2026, held under the theme “10 Years of One ASEAN, One Response: Re-envisioning ASEAN’s Collective Response to Disasters” in Singapore.

H.E. San Lwin delivered remarks during the Opening Session alongside representatives from the host country and Partners. In his remarks, H.E. San Lwin underscored that the 10th Anniversary of the One ASEAN, One Response Declaration highlights ASEAN’s achievements in disaster management while underscoring the need for continued innovation, preparedness, and partnerships to strengthen the region’s resilience to evolving disaster risks.
