Secretary-General of ASEAN meets with Minister of Foreign Affairs of the People’s Republic of China

During his Working Visit to Beijing, China, Secretary-General of ASEAN, Dr. Kao Kim Hourn, on 15 September 2026, met with H.E. Wang Yi, Member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee, Director of the Office of the Central Commission for Foreign Affairs and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the People’s Republic of China. Both sides discussed ASEAN–China relations under the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership (CSP), particularly the fifth anniversary of the CSP this year, and key priorities of ASEAN-China cooperation, and ways to strengthen collaboration. Both sides also exchanged views on regional and international developments of mutual interest.
