Secretary-General of ASEAN, Dr, Kao Kim Hourn, today participated in the 44th Meeting of the ASEAN Energy Ministers which took place in Manila, the Philippines. The Meeting was chaired by H.E. Sharon Garin, Secretary of Energy of the Republic of the Philippines and Chair of the ASEAN Energy Ministers’ Meeting in 2026. The Meeting exchanged views on regional and global energy developments, reviewed progress in implementing regional energy priorities, and reaffirmed ASEAN’s commitment to strengthening energy security, connectivity, and resilience.
