Secretary-General of ASEAN Dr Kao Kim Hourn attended the 17th ASEAN Defence Ministers’ Meeting (ADMM) in Jakarta, Indonesia, today. Chaired by Indonesia, the meeting adopted a number of key deliverables, including the ADMM Work Programme 2023-2026, Concept Paper on the Implementation of the ASEAN Outlook on the Indo-Pacific (AOIP) from a Defence Perspective, Concept Paper on Harmonising ADMM and ADMM-Plus Initiatives as well as the Jakarta Joint Declaration of the ADMM for Peace, Prosperity and Security.
