The ASEAN Intergovernmental Commission on Human Rights (AICHR) held its 39th Meeting from 20-22 May in Jakarta, Indonesia, which discussed progress in the implementation of its priority programmes and measures to enhance cooperation with ASEAN Sectoral Bodies and Entities, as well as engagement with relevant stakeholders and ASEAN Dialogue Partners on human rights promotion and protection.
