The ASEAN Sub-Committee on Budget held its annual meeting from 28-30 August 2024 at the ASEAN Headquarters/ASEAN Secretariat in Jakarta. Chaired by Mr. Khambou Thammavong, Director of the ASEAN Department from Lao PDR, the meeting brought together representatives from ASEAN Member States, with Timor-Leste participating as an observer. This important yearly gathering focused on reviewing and discussing the operational budget of the ASEAN Secretariat for the upcoming year.
