Secretary-General of ASEAN meets Chair of ASEAN Business Advisory Council 2024

The Secretary-General of ASEAN, H.E. Dr Kao Kim Hourn, this afternoon had a bilateral meeting with Mr. Oudet Souvannavong, Chair of ASEAN Business Advisory Council (ASEAN BAC) and the President of Lao National Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LNCCI). Dr. Kao appreciated the active role of the ASEAN BAC in building a robust partnership between the business community and governments of ASEAN as an invaluable vehicle to achieve ASEAN’s vision for inclusive and forward-looking regional economic integration. He also affirmed the ASEAN Secretariat’s full support for Lao PDR’s ASEAN BAC chairmanship year this year.
