Secretary-General of ASEAN, Dr. Kao Kim Hourn, today met with President of the State Audit Organization of Lao PDR Viengthavisone Thephachanh. Both sides underscored the importance of the role of the ASEAN Audit Committee (AAC) in strengthening the governance process at the ASEAN Secretariat through its annual meetings. They also discussed on the key outcomes of the 49th AAC Meeting and the upcoming sustainability reporting requirements based on the International Public Sector Accounting Standard (IPSAS).
