The 57th ASEAN Foreign Ministers’ Meeting convenes in Vientiane, Lao PDR

Secretary-General of ASEAN Dr. Kao Kim Hourn joined ASEAN Foreign Ministers at the 57th ASEAN Foreign Ministers’ Meeting (AMM) today, in Vientiane, Lao PDR. The annual Foreign Ministers’ Meeting, which was held in plenary and retreat format, took stock of ASEAN Community-building efforts and discussed the state of ASEAN external relations and other issues of importance. Timor-Leste attended the Meeting as Observer. The Ministers reaffirmed commitment to support Lao PDR’s Chairmanship of ASEAN this year under the theme “ASEAN: Enhancing Connectivity and Resilience.”
