After four consecutive days of meetings, the 44th and 45th ASEAN Summits and Related Summits drew to a close. The Secretary-General of ASEAN, Dr. Kao Kim Hourn, witnessed the handing over of the ASEAN Chairmanship from Lao PDR to Malaysia during the Closing Ceremony of the 44th and 45th ASEAN Summits and Related Summits today in Vientiane, Lao PDR. Malaysia will chair ASEAN throughout 2025, under the theme “Inclusivity and Sustainability.”
