Co-Chaired by Lao PDR and Malaysia, the 19th Meeting of the HLTF-ACV started today, 10 December 2024, in Vientiane, Lao PDR, with a drafting session of the APSC Strategic Plan. The ASEAN Community Vision 2045 and the Strategic Plans of the three Community Pillars and ASEAN Connectivity are expected to be adopted in 2025.
The HLTF-ACV had an interface with the Chair of the High-Level Task Force on ASEAN Economic Integration (HLTF-EI), Co-Chairs of the Ad-Hoc Working Group to Develop the ASCC Post-2025 Strategic Plan (ASCC AHWG), as well as current and incoming Chairs of ASEAN Connectivity Coordinating Committee (ACCC). In line with its mandate to undertake a comprehensive, participatory, inclusive and holistic approach, the HLTF-ACV also had an interface with a representative of ASEAN Youth Organization.
