MEDIA ADVISORY: Toronto & York Region Labour Council to Hold Press Conference Before Labour Day Parade

TORONTO, Sept. 04, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE)

WHAT: The Toronto & York Region Labour Council will take to the streets with over 20,000 labour members to defend workers everywhere, honouring the past, present and future victories of the Labour Movement at the Labour Day Parade. Prior to the start of the parade, the Labour Council will hold a press conference with partners in labour.

To push back against inflation, tariffs, and rising costs, our communities are standing up to support each other in the struggle for dignity, equity, and accountability. On Labour Day, we will carry on this fight.
