VIETNAM President and Communist Party leader Tô Lâm, with first lady Ngo Phuong Ly, arrived in the country on Sunday for a two-day state visit.
The Vietnam Airlines plane carrying Lam and his delegation landed at the Villamor Air Base in Pasay City at 12:40 p.m. They were welcomed by Agriculture Secretary Francisco Tiu Laurel Jr.
This is the first time Vietnam’s party leader has made a stop in the Philippines.
