On 24 June 2026, the 51st Meeting of the ASEAN Audit Committee (AAC) was convened at the ASEAN Secretariat Headquarters in Jakarta. Held under the Philippines’ ASEAN Chairmanship, the meeting addressed key issues related to internal and external audit, risk management, and governance of the ASEAN Secretariat.
Chaired by the distinguished Ms. Ruth Joy L. Guinid – Lunag, the meeting brought together delegations from ASEAN Member States and the ASEAN Secretariat and served as a platform for a constructive exchange of views, best practices, and experiences aimed at strengthening the ASEAN Secretariat’s internal control, risk management, governance, accountability, and transparency.
