Secretary-General of ASEAN meets with Director General of Global System for Mobile Communications Association (GSMA)

On the margins of the M360 ASEAN, in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, Secretary-General of ASEAN, Dr. Kao Kim Hourn, on 10 September 2026, met with Director General of the Global System for Mobile Communications Association (GSMA), Vivek Badrinath, to deepen partnership with GSMA in support of ASEAN’s expanding digital agenda, including digital inclusion, trusted digital services, innovation and regional connectivity. Both reaffirmed the role of M360 ASEAN as a platform for digital dialogue between public and private partners and help strengthen engagement between ASEAN Member States’ governments, regulators and industries.
