Secretary-General of ASEAN, Dr. Kao Kim Hourn, today delivered the opening remarks at the Regional Workshop on Humanitarian Mine Action in ASEAN, an event organised by the ASEAN Regional Mine Action Center (ARMAC) with the support of the Geneva International Centre for Humanitarian Demining, in Jakarta. In his remarks, Dr. Kao highlighted the importance of information systems in critical areas and emphasised the need to transform information into impactful, actionable outcomes.
